![]() ![]() I don’t even know how to do this tbh so I won’t try to explain, but I know there’s articles to further research the topic if you wanted to experiment. Now, if you want each user to have to put in a unique login so you can track their identity and restrict it to only certain people, this would require a lottt more config with AD, RADIUS, etc. Thus, you wouldn’t actually need a password on the captive portal because the Guest SSID is secured, and one would theoretically only be able to access the captive portal webpage by connecting to the Guest SSID. The guest SSID would be a secured network, and you can make a QR code that connects to a secured network by scanning the QR Code. You can setup a redirect to any webpage from the captive portal in UniFi on the guest control section of controller settings So on the UniFi controller, you would setup a new SSID with the guest options enabled, put the guest SSID on a separate VLAN that can’t connect to the main network, and enable the captive portal for the guest SSID. Here's the gist of it:Ĭurl_cmd="curl -tlsv1 -silent -cookie $" ![]() ![]() I use xkcdpass to generate the passphrase, and curl to communicate with the unifi controller. Sure! I have a bash script that runs on a weekly cronjob. ![]()
